Solitary Pearl provides vintage inspired custom wedding dresses with socially conscious materials designed and made in Ohio. Our basic principles are be fair, be nice, and do exceptional work. This means that your dress can be what you want it to be. If that’s a design you see here, wonderful! If not, we’ll make it up together.
If you are close enough to the studio to try on samples, you can take pictures. We’ll print them out for you so you can shop and compare, and take your time to think about it. Once the dress is made, if something isn’t perfect, we’ll fix it. If you need to return it, you can. It’s different than most bridal companies, but we think it’s right.We don’t order supplies unless we have talked to the supplier and know that everyone involved in the process is being treated right. Some supplies are certified fair trade or organic. We don’t limit myself to just certified products because that can stunt the growth of start up companies trying to do good who haven’t been able to get certified yet. It also often cuts out many Made in America products, which we like to support as well. If you have special requests about the certification of the material for your dress, please let me know.
