Quest Business and Conference Center
Judy Stoof and staff from the Quest Business & Conference Center treated us to a wonderful evening at their venue. With linens provided by Connie Duglin Linens and centerpieces provided by Flowers by Brielle, the room looked spectacular! Laura's Catering provided a great menu for our networking hour and dinner, featuring hors d'oeuvres of Brushetta and English Fluted Cucumbers with Thai Beef, and a buffet of Chicken Piccata, Roasted Vegetable Ziti, Buttermilk Chive Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans Almondine. For dessert, Appalachian Granny's, An American Bakery provided an amazing chocolate espresso cake!
Our sincere thanks to the Quest Business and Conference Center for treating us to a fabulous evening! Centerpieces by Flowers by Brielle

Jim Davis-Hicks, Thirst Relief International
Jim Davis-Hicks, a visionary leader and philanthropic wedding photographer from Columbus, delivered an inspiring message of how to make your everyday life a giving one. Davis-Hicks, who inspiringly weaves the thirst relief efforts of his organization Thirst Relief International into his everyday life as a wedding photographer, was an amazing example of how you can use cause marketing to change the world just by weaving your passions into your work. His message titled "Thirst for more: Passion, Purpose, Profit and Productivity" motivated our WPC audience to dream big today. His presentation capitalized on the need to make your impact on the world now, and not to wait for what he called your "age 50", or the time when you would be retired and have the "time" to make a difference. His message of "don't put off until tomorrow what can be done today" spoke to how our lives can be enriched by a daily philanthropic way of thinking, and to change the world just takes a small shift in your day-to-day way of life. Jim Davis-Hicks is a great example of how to dream big - Thirst Relief International started as nothing more than one man's mission to change the world, and to date his organization as saved more than 204,000 lives from the worldwide water crisis.
